[3Ep06] Ultrathin layered Ni-doped MoS2 hybrid nanostructures for the enhancement of electrochemical properties in supercapacitors
MoS 2 nanosheets with various percentages of Ni as a dopant is synthesized utilizing a simple hydrothermal process to discover a sustainable material for a high-performance hybrid supercapacitor. The symmetric capacitor constructed with Ni-doped MoS 2 as a positive electrode, and graphite as a negative electrode performs well, with an energy density of 140.9 Wh k/g and a power density of 11520 W k/g and capacitance retention of 68% after 2000 cycles. Thus Ni-doped MoS 2 nanosheets were considered to be a suitable electrode material for the fabrication of excellent energy storage devices based on specified results.
