FCC金属を対象とした分子動力学法により,ボイドと刃状転位の相互作用に及ぼす積層欠陥エネルギーの影響を定量化した.4つの相互作用形態が存在し,それに伴う硬化は,部分転位への分離をとりいれた連続体モデルと良い一致を示すことが明らかとなった.
