BCC鉄中に存在する自己格子間原子集合体の三次元的運動に着目したOn-the-fly kinetic Monte Carloによる解析を行なった.その結果,三次元的運動機構の支配メカニズムとなる従来確認されていなかった新しい原子拡散プロセスを発見し,これにより従来考えられていたよりも高い頻度で三次元的運動が発生し得ることが明らかとなった.
