Synchrotron radiation based XAFS analysis was performed to evaluate chemical state of the simulated glass samples by bottom drain tests at several conditions (composition of waste components and gas bubbling etc.). As the results of XAFS analysis, it can be seen that, by gas bubbling at the melting, platinum group elements were scattered in the glass and chemical state of them changed to reductive. In addition, we found oxidation state of many elements like Cr changed according to the condition, but some elements like Fe did not changed at all.
