[2C12] Hydrogen isotope exchange in Tungsten

This study aims to show the characteristics of hydrogen isotope exchange dynamics in tungsten. D-ion beam was used to first irradiate the surface of tungsten. Next, D release dynamics as function of implanted H was measured using in-vacuo nuclear reaction analysis (NRA) within <500 nm. The D loss rate due to H isotope exchange was studied as a function of temperature (250-450 K).
