We have analysed the experimental data by Purdom and McSheehy in 1963, on the mutation frequency of Drosophila irradiated with low dose-rate radiation, with the WAM model, a mathematical model in the form of differential equation. It is shown that the data can be reproduced by taking account the time dependence of the mutation frequency after the irradiation, which demonstrates the usefulness of the WAM model that takes account of the dose-rate effects.
