[2G03] Production cross sections of 177Lu from 50 MeV alpha-induced reaction on natYb

Lutetium-177 (T1/2 = 6.7 d) is a candidate RI for theranosis (= therapy + diagnosis). The production of 177Lu has not been investigated in detail. The natYb(a,x)177Lu reaction is one of the possible nuclear reactions to produce 177Lu. Therefore we performed an experiment to obtain its excitation function up to 50 MeV at the RIKEN AVF cyclotron.
