Thin silicon sensor has an advantage of low sensitivity to gamma rays. We performed test experiments at UTR-KINKI and Kyoto University Research Reactor to study the possibility of measuring neutrons at the boron neutron capture theraphy fields irradiating intense gamma rays and neutrons to the silicon sensor. We found that we can measure neutrons using the thin silicon sensor under these radiation fields.
