[3G14] Development of a neutrino-nucleus reaction model and its implementation to PHITS

Keywords:Neutrino, Detection, Simulation

In recent years, R&Ds associated with neutrino detection such as measurement of neutrino oscillation and remote monitoring of reactor activities using neutrino, are intensively progressing. Because neutrinos are detected by using hydrogen or deuterium, a reaction model to simulate the reactions of neutrino and hydrogen/deuterium is developed and implemented to PHITS. It is confirmed that the interaction of neutrinos and nucleons yield reaction products.
