At Fukushima-Daiichi decommissioning site, beta-ray management is extremely important.With the legislation of lowering the eye lens dose limit, more convenient and reliable measurement tool of dose rate is required. We have developed a quadruple phoswich scintillation detector using real-time pulse shape discrimination method and dose equivalent rate calculations. Measurement accuracy of prototype detector applied new algorithm was evaluated using some beta and gamma sources.
