Bao-zhen Yao (Department of Pediatrics, Renmin Hospital of Wuhan University, Wuhan, China)

Backgroud Tuberous sclerosis complex (TSC) is a rare disorder of autosomal dominant inheritance with a high penetrance, involving primarily skin and nervous system. Neuroendocrine tumours (NETs) in TSC patients were not common, especially in pancrea. There are a few case concerning TSC patients with insulioma, but none of them is child. Case We here to describe a 5-year-old girl who suffered from recurrent hypoglycemia caused by insulinoma and was ultimately diagnosed with TSC. Conclusion The case we report add an envidence to the connection of TSC with insulinoma. When a child suffer from recurrent hypoglycemia, the diagnosis of TSC should be under consideration.
