[INP-08i] Evaluation of the Powder Adhesion Amounts by Laser Microscope with Wide Field of View
- Real Contact Areas of Rubber Rollers -

Paper jams in the printers are caused by the adhesion of paper lint to rubber rollers, but they are not clarified in detail. Therefore, in this study, we observed the surface of rubber roller after paper feeding by wide-field-of-view laser microscope. we visualized the amount of paper lint adhesion and experimentally clarified that the decrease ratio of friction is proportional to the increase ration of paper lint adhesion area. In addition, by observing and analyzing the surface of the rubber roller, amount of paper lint adhesion and its influence on friction and wear was clarified.
