Oral Care as the Mainstream of Medicine
 

In recent years, it has been getting clear that oral diseases such as dental cavities and periodontitis are associated with the various systemic diseases including heart disease, respiratory disease and diabetes. Accordingly, the importance of oral care has become widely recognized by society as well. Since oral care is anticipated to serve in the mainstream of medicine in the near future, we would like to consider and evaluate the importance of oral care once again in the present congress, making this opportunity to broaden and deepen our knowledge on oral care.
