Keywords:Mössbauer spectroscopy, Ca-rich pyroxene, quadrupole intensity tensor

Mössbauer spectra of thin sections of single crystal of four Ca-rich pyroxenes were measured to reveal compositional dependences of peak intensity tensor from intensity variation of quadrupole doublet. Components of the intensity tensor (IXX, IYY, IXY and IZZ) for Fe2+ at M1 sites in Wo50 were almost the same. Intensity tensor for Fe2+ at M1 sites of Wo40was slightly different from the Wo50. The difference of intensity tensor between Wo50 and Wo40 suggests that intensity tensor for Fe2+ at M1 sites are dependent on the Ca contents and are independent of Fe contents.
