[R6P-08] Petrological and geochemical features of Miocene and Pleistocene volcanic rocks from the Asahi area, Eastern Toyama Prefecture, Japan

We analyed the whole-rock chemical compositions and Sr-Nd isotope ratios of Miocene and Pleistocene andesites in the Asahi area, Toyama Prefecture, Japan. The Miocene and the Pleistocene andesites are tholeiite series and calc-alkaline series, respectively. However, the geochemical characteristics of these andesites are similar. This suggests that there are commonalities in the source materials and magma generation process of each andesite magmas.
