16JEESのパネルディスカッション事前アンケートのお願い：
16JEESの特別講演会及びパネルディスカッションでは「関東大震災を通してみる未来の都市災害と防災～都市は強靱になったのか～」をテーマとします。
関東大震災から100年、現代社会においては地震工学の発展により強靱化したものがある一方、新たな脆弱性も生まれています。関東大震災に匹敵する大規模地震が現在の首都圏を襲ったときにどのような被害が起きえるのか、また今後50年～100年を見据えた時にどのようなことが懸念されるかなどについて、分野横断的に議論したいと考えております。
そこで、各分野のみなさまの率直なお考えや懸念事項などをお聞かせいただきたく、関係学会のみなさまに事前アンケートをお願いする次第です。結果は、シンポジウムのパネルディスカッションで報告するとともに、議論の中にも反映させていただきます。

Request for Questionnaire in Advance of Panel Discussion at 16 JEES :
A Special Lecture and Panel Discussion titled "Urban Disasters and Disaster Risk Reduction in the Future through the Great Kanto Earthquake - Have Cities Become Resilient?" will be held at 16 JEES.
One hundred years have passed since the Great Kanto Earthquake, and while some modern societies have become more resilient due to the development of earthquake engineering, new vulnerabilities have also emerged. We would like to have a cross-disciplinary discussion on what kind of damage could occur if a large-scale earthquake comparable to the Great Kanto Earthquake were to strike the present-day Tokyo metropolitan area, and what concerns could arise in the next 50 to 100 years.
Therefore, we would like to ask all related academic societies to fill out a questionnaire in advance of the symposium in order to hear your opinions and concerns. The results will be reported at the symposium panel discussion and will also be reflected in the discussions.
