[1F13] Development of thermally stable highly dispersed supported polyoxometalate cesium salts
Keywords:Polyoxometalate Cesium Salts, High Dispersion, Thermal Stability
POMs are anionic metal oxide nanoclusters with various unique properties. By the reaction using tetra-n-butylammonium (TBA) salts of lacunary POMs as inorganic multidentate ligands in organic media, we have succeeded in the precise design of POMs with multinuclear metal-oxygen active site structures. In this study, we developed a method to prepare highly dispersed supported POM cesium salt catalysts by supporting the corresponding TBA salts on suitable supports in organic media, followed by cation exchange using cesium trifluoromethanesulfonate. This method enabled immobilization while retaining the original POM structures, and the prepared catalysts had good thermostability and oxidation resistance.
