[1C01] Synthetic Liquid Fuel Production R&D with SOEC using CO₂

In a NEDO project, we have researched for synthetic liquid fuel prodcuction process that is expected as one of the carbon recycling technology. We will present about a new process combining solid oxide electrolysis cells (SOEC) and Fischer-Tropshch reaction to produce liquid fuel. We found that partial recycle of the syngas produced at SOEC will enhance energy efficiency by 8 percentage points. In addition, CO₂ and steam electrolysis performance with SOEC and some issues will be reported at the conference.
