[1D07] Borylation of unactivated C–N and C–O bonds by supported Au catalyst

Efficient transformation of unactivated bonds such as C–O bonds and C–N bonds is important in the context of the progress of carbon neutrality because these bonds are often found in natural biomass compounds. However, transformation of unactivated bonds often requires preactivation into highly reactive compounds. In this work, Au/Fe2O3 exhibited high catalytic activity for boryration of C(sp3)–Obond and C(sp3)–N bond.
