[2A13] The development of the metal-free carbon-based catalyst doped with Nitrogen and Phosphorus for oxygen reduction reaction

The oxygen reduction reaction (ORR) is an important process in the sustainable energy conversion system such as fuel cells and metal-air batteries. At present, Pt-based catalysts are widely used as catalysts for ORR, but the scarcity and the low durability of Pt and the sluggish reaction kinetics of ORR hinder the large-scale popularization of these energy systems. Herein, we synthesized the metal-free carbon-based catalyst doped with N and P. The obtained N, P co-doped carbon exhibited a high catalytic activity for ORR.
