[2D01] Impact of carbon-cobalt-acid combination to produce synthetic fuel from syngas
Keywords:Synthetic Fuel, Carbon-Cobalt-Acid, Syngas
Synthetic fuel, also called e-fuel, is considered carbon neutral if the starting CO is derived from captured CO2 and H2 produced by using renewable energy. Although numerous catalytic systems to produce such fuel from syngas have been reported, they are still less cost-effective owing to low yield with high greenhouse gas production. In this study, we investigated the impact of using a carbon-cobalt-acid combination with varying ratios to synthesize high-quality synthetic fuel from syngas. Furthermore, we examined the changes in product selectivity by different combinations of the carbon-cobalt-acid hybrid.
