[2D03] Development of bi-functional catalyst for CO2 capture and its conversion at low temperature under an electric field
Keywords:CCU, CO2 hydrogenation, Electric field
Recently, technologies related to CO2 capture and utilization (CCU) are attracting attention at industrial field. However, most of CCU technologies require energy-intensive processes, such as the separation, concentration, and purification of CO2, as well as the conversions of the captured CO2 to valuable chemicals at high temperature. Therefore, we aimed at developing bi-functional catalysts that can work at low-temperature for CO2 capture and conversion in the same system. The developed Pt-Na/TiO2 adsorbed CO2 from diluted CO2, and then selectively converted the adsorbed CO2 to CO under H2 gas flow with assistance of electric field even below 500 K.
