プロセスの概念設計段階において触媒・材料の性能試験データが十分でない場合、第一原理モデルによる反応メカニズムの詳細な解析は難しく、より簡潔な反応モデルをプロセス設計に適用する。それゆえ、調整されるモデルパラメータは高い不確実性を有し、設計の精度に影響を及ぼす。本講演では、排ガス中のNO吸着プロセスの設計などを例にとり、ベイズ推定に基づくモデルパラメータの不確実性の定量化手法などについて述べる。
