Methane produced by fermentation of raw garbage, livestock manure, etc. is being watched as fuel for power generation and green fuel (synthetic fuel). In particular, it is essential to remove mercury contained in biogas in order to prevent the deterioration of green fuel generation catalysts (reforming/FT synthesis). Recently, we have developed a mercury removal material that can easily and inexpensively treat mercury contained in the gas phase.
