[20p-E206-4] Continuous Wave Terahertz Light Detection by Resonant Tunneling Diode

Continuous wave terahertz light generated by an uni-traveling carrier photodiode (UTC-PD) was irradiated to a resonant tunneling diode (RTD). The terahertz light was detected by measuring the change in the current value of the RTD. It was found that the detection sensitivity can not be explained by the square detection or the Photon-Assisted Tunneling model.
