[11p-PB1-28] Fabrication and characterization of the visible light absorber by using metal wire grid structure

Keywords:surface plasmon, wire grid structure

Recent studies have focused on energy absorption processes, and plasmonic nanostructures have been shown to improve performance of photovoltaic cells and sensors and the like. Also, precious metals such as gold, silver and copper exhibit plasmon resonance at visible frequencies. On the other hand, production of an absorber in the infrared region has been reported, but with visible light the size of the wire grid structure is small, making the absorber is not easy. In this study, we attempted to apply it as a light absorber with wire grid structure in visible light, and we could confirm high absorption spectrum.
