[12a-M121-9] Application of 50kW-Crass Super-High Power Transistor to EV Control

We developed a 50kW-class super-high power distar, which is a novel power transistor, composed of 72 pieces of high power red LED and a 155mm×155mm Si polycrystalline solar cell. And we succeeded in the experiment of control of electric cart for the elderly using the high power distar. This result indicates that it is possible to control electric vehicles by the power distar instead of conventional IGBT(Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistor).
