Keywords:PTFE, atmospheric pressure plasma, surface modification

We have reported that the adhesion strength with metals is improved by atmospheric pressure plasma treatment of the PTFE surface. It was also found that this treatment desorbs hydrogen atoms and bonds oxygen atoms on the sample surface. In this study, we confirmed that aging of chemical species on PTFE surface treated with atmospheric pressure plasma. The surface chemical species of the sample after 1 day showed the same as that as treated, on the other hand it returned to almost initial surface state after 3 weeks.
