[1Ba05] Experimental and theoretical structure analyses for PtH_x formed at low temperature

Platinum hydrides were successfully obtained by H ion implantation at low temperature. By the experimental structure analysis using Channeling NRA and the theoretical calculation of site energy using DFT calculations, we revealed that the H atoms are distributed in octahedral and tetrahedral sites in the metastable PtH_x.
