[2P28] Dense Pd films with ultra-low photon-stimulated desorption, high durability and low resistivity values
Denser Pd films were prepared and characterized with regard to PSD yields and resistivities. Compared with TiZrV films, these Pd films exhibited ultra-low PSD yields and lower resistivity values. Experimental data confirmed that the ultra-low PSD yields of these films were maintained following repeated exposure to air at a high temperature. The application of these Pd coatings to the newly proposed Hybrid Ring system is currently being evaluated.
