It has been reported that steps on Pb monolayer films formed on Si(111) separate the superconductivity and the strength of separation significantly depends on the coverage. Therefore it is quite important to understand local conductivities of steps and terraces on these surfaces. In order to measure the local conductivities, we have developed a low temperature scanning tunneling potentiometry system. Here, we measured surface conductivity on several coverages of Pb monolayers on Si(111). From the results, we found that the step conductivity is modified by a small difference of the coverages. We will show the details of the measurements in our presentation.
