In 2020, the world saw the panic caused by COVID-19 pandemic. Many cities were locked down, and voices to force social-distance echoed all over. The pandemic accelerated the digital transformation. Telework has been normalized and exodus from city center has been observed.
Cities may be in the middle of searching for new values.

However, it is not first time that we have been facing these crises. We have been able to overcome these crises by restructuring social system, redesigning urban space, and strengthening the social resiliency.
