FAQ: Poster Presentation Sessions

Q1. I will be making a poster presentation. But I am not quite sure about the "short oral" part.

A1. All poster presenters will be making a one-minute short oral presentation to introduce their poster before the e-Poster presentation session. Therefore, the e-Poster presenters have to participate in both of the following sessions;

① Short oral presentation on December 2
② e-Poster Q&A session held using the comment function on December 3

The aim of the short oral presentation session of the e-Poster is to attract the attention of the audience to your e-Poster, which will be presented on December 3. Therefore, rather than giving too many details of your study, please give basic information about your study, including the main purpose, main findings, and conclusion.

During the short oral presentation session, each presenter is given one minute to quickly introduce his/her poster using one PDF page. This session will be done on Zoom.

During the e-Poster Q&A session, other participants will look at your poster and ask you questions using the comment function. You will answer to the questions using the same function. Thus, you need to stay in front of your computer to respond during the session.

Q2. Is there a template for the short oral PDF?

A2.  We have already sent the presenters the link to download the following template (PPT format) via email

Q3. Is there a template for the e-Poster?
