南海トラフ地震臨時情報が導入されて4年が経過し、2022年には日本海溝・千島海溝沿いの巨大地震に対する注意情報も導入された。これらの情報は、地震発生の不確実性などの理由で「わかりにくい」と受け取られている。本セッションでは、この「わかりにくい」情報の特性と向き合い、有効な防災対策や避難対策、リスクコミュニケーションについて、理学、工学の研究者のみならず、行政やメディアなどのさまざまな視点から議論する。
