[3AW-10] Molecular genetics in neuroscience: from synapse development to circuit function

Thu. Dec 5, 2019 9:00 AM - 11:30 AM Room 10 (Fukuoka International Congress Center 4F 414)

Organizers:Kota Mizumoto(The University of British Columbia), Fumi Kubo(National Institute of Genetics)

【E】

The combination of genetics and molecular biology using model organisms has been a powerful tool to uncover the fundamental principles of how our nervous system develops and functions. In this workshop, we invite leading scientists using various genetic approaches from classical genetics to optogenetics to study different aspects of the nervous system from synapse formation to circuit function.
