国立高専では、学術の発展動向や国際的な教育改革の動きを踏まえ、また、社会や産業界のニーズ等に応えるために、モデルコアカリキュラム（MCC）の改訂検討を進め、改訂版MCCを公開した。改訂版MCCは高専教育の質保証基盤として機能する。
