We have been manufacturing laboratory glassware since
1921 as a borosilicate glass manufacturer, which is an
excellent glass material invented in the 20th century.
HARIO celebrates 100th anniversary in 2021.
HARIO will continue to manufacture borosilicate glass materials.

For 100 years, HARIO has been manufacturing borosilicate glass material in Japan.
The founder, Mr. Hiromu Shibata, established "SHIBATA HIROMU Factory" in 1921
in Kanda-Sudacho, Tokyo. Currently, HARIO continues to produce laboratory glassware,
as the only manufacturer of borosilicate glass material
(Coefficient of Thermal Expansion: 3.2 * 10-6 /deg) in Japan.
