Information for Presenters and Chairs

 
Special Lectures, Award Lectures, Symposia, etc.
(1) Presentation outline

Presentations will be made digitally by projecting the shared screen to the audience using an LCD projector.
Presenters are requested to bring a USB memory stick containing the PowerPoint file and arrive at the PC reception desk in PACIFICO Yokohama Exhibition Hall A (1F, next to the general reception desk) at least one hour before the start of your session (30 minutes before in the early morning).
Please be sure to check your presentation data, make copies of the data, and confirm how to operate the data. Windows PC (PowerPoint 2021) is available. A 16:9 slide aspect ratio is recommended, but 4:3 slides may also be used. The file name should be "presentation-number_presenter's name.pptx".

- As a rule, you are not allowed to bring your own PC, so please bring your presentation data on a USB memory stick.
- For those who will present in the first session in the morning on the second day or later, please register your presentation data at the PC reception desk by the previous day.
 

(2) For MacOS

If your data is created on MacOS, please bring your own PC.

(a) Acceptable models: The monitor must be equipped with an HDMI output terminal.

The output terminal standard may be different for flat-screen PCs. In this case, please be sure to bring a conversion adapter for connection.

(b) PC reception: Connection and operation check and preview are required.

For those who will present in the first session in the morning on the second day or later, please come to the PC reception desk in PACIFICO Yokohama Exhibition Hall A (1F, next to the general reception desk) on the day before your presentation.
Presenters in other time slots are requested to come to the PC reception desk in PACIFICO Yokohama Exhibition Hall A from the day before the presentation to one hour before the session starts.

(c) After confirming the data at the PC reception desk, please bring your own PC to the venue and ask the video operator near the next speaker's seat to connect your PC at least 30 minutes before the session start time. The connection and operation of your PC will be checked.

- It is recommended that you bring an AC power adapter, even if your battery is fully charged.
- The PC to be brought in must be capable of outputting images to an external display.
- The PCs will be returned at the venue after the presentation.
 

General Session (Oral presentation)

(1) Schedule and Presentation Times

(a) Oral presentations will be held on March 29 (Fri), 30 (Sat), and 31 (Sun) at PACIFICO Yokohama Conference Center.

(b) The duration of the oral presentations is 9 minutes for talks and 3 minutes for discussions (including the speaker change time).
 

(2) Presentation outline

General Session (Poster presentation)

(1) Schedule and Presentation Times

(a) Poster presentations will be held on March 29 (Fri), 30 (Sat), and 31 (Sun) at PACIFICO Yokohama Exhibition Hall AB.

(b) Posters must be displayed at the designated time. The presentation time differs depending on whether the presentation number is odd or even. Please refer to the table below for presentation times.

(c) Posters must be removed after the presentation time and before the end of the poster display time. The Organizing Committee will dispose of posters that are not removed after the removal time.

(2) Presentation outline

(a) Poster size for display is W90 x H210 (cm). Only the board number is displayed on the board. Please display the same number as the last 3 digits of your poster presentation number on the board. Please confirm the board number of the board you should display at the poster room information (PACIFICO Yokohama Exhibition Hall AB).

(b) Please indicate your presentation number on the upper left of your poster as shown in the figure below. If your poster is eligible for the poster presentation award, please write your presentation number in red.
 


 

(c) Presenters are required to display their posters at the poster room using the pushpins provided. Please be sure to wear the presenter's ribbon when you present your poster.

(d) Posters must be removed promptly before the end of the poster display time. Please return the pins and ribbons to the designated place.

Disclosure of Conflicts of Interest
In accordance with the Conflict of Interest Management Regulations of the Pharmaceutical Society of Japan, the presenter is required to disclose conflicts of interest for all presentations at the 144th Annual Meeting. A sample of the disclosure procedure is provided in the "COI Slide" page.
 
Change of Presenter
The policy regarding the change of presenters for general presentations is as follows.
Please note that the changes cannot be reflected in the Web Abstracts. 

(1) Oral presentation
Please state that you are a substitute presenters at the beginning of your presentation.
No other procedures are required.
Substituted presentations will be excluded from consideration for the Student Best Presentation Award. 

(2) Poster presentation
If you are eligible to be considered for the Student Best Presentation Award, please notify us of the change of presenter using the form below.

  Substituted presentations will be excluded from consideration for the Student Best Presentation Award. 
If your poster presentation is not eligible for the Student Best Presentation Award, there is no need to submit a change of presenter form.
