[EI1-02] Emissive-reflective dual-mode display device by combining acene-based AC-driven electrochemiluminescence with silver electrodeposition based multicolor electrochromism
Electrochemical optical modulation of electrochemiluminescence (ECL) and electrochromism (EC) has attracted much attention as novel displaying techniques. We have reported electrochemical dual-mode display device (DMD) enabling control of both emission and reflection by employing these two phenomena. In this study, we fabricated novel DMD device containing acene-based AC-driven blue ECL and Ag electrodeposition based EC system in a single electrochemical device.
