[EP3-02] Influence of Particle Shapes on Feeding Performance of MFP
This paper deals with the influence of shapes of filler particles on feeding performance of MFPs. During feeding tests, we used two kinds of PPC paper that contain each of heavy and light carbon carbonate. And the processes of particle adhesion on rubber surfaces were optically observed for overall contact interfaces. Usage of heavy carbon carbonate is likely to cause the rubber wear while that of light one is likely to cause the friction decrease due to particle adhesion. Those results are important for improvement of rubber performances, which should be concerned with trade-off between anti-wear property and friction-maintaining property.
