Purpose of the award
We reward students who are members of the Japan Society of Cell Biology for their excellent poster presentations to encourage students and promote cell biology researchers.

Eligibility Criteria
Members of the Society who are graduate or undergraduate students at the time of the conference. High school students are not eligible.
How to apply
Those wishing to be considered for the award should check the box for the Best Student Poster Presentation Award when submitting a general abstract.
If there are more than 75 applicants, approximately 75 will be selected in the preliminary round, and if there are fewer than 75, all applicants will be reviewed in the final round.
Applicants will be notified whether they are eligible for the final round in the notice of acceptance of general abstracts.
In the final round, applicants will present their poster to the judges during the designated presentation time (3 minutes for presentation, 2 minutes for Q&A). Applicants will be evaluated based on (1) presentation, (2) research, and (3) contribution.
About the review

Judges
The President of the meeting will invite approximately 15 reviewers, mainly past winners of the Japanese Society for Cell Biology Young Scientists' Excellence Award.Awards
Award winners will be announced at the banquet, and certificates will be presented at the reception on the third day of the conference. In addition, the winners will receive supplementary prizes sponsored by Yodosha and Tokyo Kagaku Dozin at the banquet venue / at the reception of the conference.
