[OS01] New Trends in Diversity: Diversity Management from a Female Executive's Perspective (Diversity Promotion Committee)

The Diversity Symposium is planned by the Diversity Promotion (DP) Committee of PSJ, and this will be the 8th symposium at the PSJ annual meeting. This fiscal year was a year in which the importance of understanding diversity was strongly recognized throughout society, as the government led the development of systems related to diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I) and their reforms. Specifically, in June 2023, the government issued The Intensive Policy for Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women 2023 (Josei-ban honebuto no houshin 2023), and in the same month, the Law for promote LGBT understanding was issued, and based on these actions, changes in social system have begun. Therefore, for this symposium, three women who capture the new diversity trend and are leading DE&I activities in companies and academia will be invited as speakers. In their lectures, they will talk about the reality of diversity management, how they think about it, and their own way of life. Therefore, the DP Committee have named this symposium with the subtitle "Diversity Management and Active Women's Perspectives". The committee hope that all participants will understand the new trends in diversity, reaffirm its importance, and have an opportunity to utilize it in their own DE&I activities.
