Organizer: Sho Konno (Tokyo Univ. of Pharm. and Life Sci.), Hirokazu Tamamura (Inst. Biomat. Bioeng., Tokyo Med. Dent. Univ.), Shogo Misumi (Grad. Sch. Pharm. Sci., Kumamoto Univ.), Mikako Fujita (Grad. Sch. Pharm. Sci., Kumamoto Univ.), Yasumasa Iwatani (NHO Nagoya Med. Ctr.)

The "Frontiers in Studies on Antiviral Infectious Diseases" symposium, held since 2014, has consistently addressed unique and diverse topics in the viral research. Antiviral research has experienced remarkable development through the collective efforts of researchers across various disciplines, contributing significantly to the end of the COVID-19 pandemic. However, the global pandemic has realized us to be always exposure to new viral threats.
In this symposium, themed "Synergy Arising from Diversified Antiviral Research," we invite speakers pioneering innovative virus studies from diverse fields to present their cutting-edge research. We anticipate that this symposium will act as a starting point, facilitating a novel synergy in antiviral research within the pharmaceutical community, ultimately contributing to the collective effort in combating viral infections.
