[JS08] The 8th clinical chemistry opens up novel pharmacotherapeutic strategies ~Finding clues to overcoming diseases through deeper analysis~

Sat. Mar 30, 2024 1:15 PM - 3:15 PM [Room 501] Conference Center 501 (5F)

Organizer: Hirofumi Jono (Dept. Pharm., Kumamoto Univ. Hosp.), Masamitsu Maekawa (Dept. Pharm. Sci., Tohoku Univ. Hospital)

"Clinical chemistry" is a scientific field that aims to contribute to the elucidation of pathology and physiology, as well as treatment and prevention, as well as the practice of providing laboratory tests based on analytical technology to medical care. In the pharmaceutical field, we are developing therapeutic drug monitoring using blood drug concentrations and clinical test values, personalized medicine based on recent genome analysis information, and development of markers for predicting therapeutic effects of drugs through omics analysis using mass spectrometry technology. We are now living in an era where the latest knowledge and concepts of clinical chemistry based on clinical tests are essential for implementing appropriate drug treatments in clinical settings.
This symposium was co-hosted with the Japan Society of Clinical Chemistry, which aims to contribute to clinical chemistry in the medical field, and will cover the latest research results in clinical chemistry knowledge and concepts as well as various molecular analysis techniques. The symposium was entitled as "Finding clues to overcoming diseases through deep analysis''. The presenters will provide the latest knowledge in high-precision, high-depth molecular analysis, and linked clinical chemistry and pharmacology, which are indispensable for effective diagnosis and pharmaceutical treatment. We would like to discuss the possibility of fusion of pharmaceutical Sciences and Clinical Chemistry, and the beyond.

趣旨説明:前川 正充(東北大病院薬) (1:15 PM - 1:20 PM)
