[S61] The 8th Symposium "Current Status of Reverse Translational Research Conducted by Hospital Pharmacists" ~Approaches and viewpoints required for drug development and fostering research~

Sun. Mar 31, 2024 1:15 PM - 3:15 PM [Room 311] Conference Center 311+312 (3F)

Organizer: Satohiro Masuda (Dept. Clin. Pharm., Himeji Dokkyo Univ.), Hiroki Itoh (Oita Univ. Hosp. Dept. Pharm.), Ryuji Ikeda (Univ. Miyazaki Hosp. Dept. Pharm.), Hirofumi Jono (Dept. Pharm., Kumamoto Univ. Hosp.)

With innovative advancements in drug development and fostering research, a variety of therapeutic drugs have recently been discovered. Although novel treatment agents that modulate the function of target molecules have been widely used in clinical settings, multiple trials and errors are often necessary due to a lack of enough clinical evidence, especially in new innovative pharmacotherapies. Therefore, clinical pharmacists are required to provide novel clinical evidence for more proper medication in medical settings.
In this symposium, we would like to provide the latest topics and their backgrounds concerning the basic and clinical research conducted by clinical pharmacists working in clinical settings. In order to consider the meaning and importance of research activities by clinical pharmacists, we discuss the current approaches and viewpoints required for drug development and fostering research conducted by hospital pharmacists, their clinical questions and issues, and Future clinical application.

オーガナイザー挨拶:増田 智先(姫路獨協大薬) (1:15 PM - 1:20 PM)
