[S67] 2nd Symposium on Enhancing the Social Presence of Pharmacists through the Activation of Pharmaceutical Research

Sun. Mar 31, 2024 3:30 PM - 5:30 PM [Room 311] Conference Center 311+312 (3F)

Organizer: Tomoyuki Enokiya (Fac. Pharm., Suzuka Univ. Med. Sci.), Kazutaka Oda (Pharm. Dept., Kumamoto Univ. Hosp.)

In the growing field of digital therapeutics, pharmacists need to enhance their social presence by cultivating mutually beneficial relationships with non-medical professionals and the wider society. Through clinical achievements, pharmacists have already established their position in the healthcare industry. To significantly enhance their social presence, it's crucial to build an environment in which the contributions of pharmaceutical research by pharmacists to improving medical quality are promoted to society. Such an environment will catalyze a self-sustaining cycle of pharmaceutical research, clinical activities, and educational growth, leading to an advanced pharmaceutical culture.
The aim of this symposium is to spotlight the innovative research of pharmacists and to explore effective approaches for communicating their contributions to healthcare and society, thus optimizing their influence in enhancing pharmacists' social presence.
