[S63] The Present and Future of Drugs and Bioimaging Utilizing Metal Complexes and Radiation

Sun. Mar 31, 2024 1:15 PM - 3:15 PM [Room 502] Conference Center 502 (5F)

Organizer: Shin Aoki (Fac. Pharm. Sci., Tokyo Univ. Sci.), Seiji Komeda (Fac. Pharm. Sci., Suzuka Univ. Med. Sci.)

Design and synthesis of drugs and bioimaging probes using metal complexes such as platinum, cisplatin, and metal complexes of macrocyclic polyamines, inorganic compounds, and radioactive isotopes are important and promising fields in medical chemistry. This symposium will focus on the research and development of next-generation of metal complex-based drugs and hybrid compounds of radioactive metal complexes with peptides and their application to study of their biological functions, radiation therapy and imaging of cancer using inorganic compounds. Active physicists and researchers from pharmaceutical companies as well as pharmaceutical researchers will invited to make the presentation on the aforementioned topics for diagnostic and therapeutic drugs. The results of unique interdisciplinary research will be shared by the symposiasts and audiences and the future prospects will be discussed.

オーガナイザー挨拶:青木 伸(東京理大薬) (1:15 PM - 1:20 PM)

総括:米田 誠治(鈴鹿医療大薬) (3:10 PM - 3:15 PM)
