General Information of the 25th JASID Spring Conference

This year's annual conference will be held on 15 June (Saturday) at Utsunomiya University's Mine Campus, Utsunomiya University), followed by an excursion on 16 June (Sunday).

 

1. Theme

The theme is "Realizing International Cooperation and Interactive Co-creation in Local Context Global & Glocal Human Resource Development."

This event will focus on the practical aspects of international cooperation and co-creation, with an emphasis on both global and local (glocal) human resource development.

At Utsunomiya University, we are practicing global and glocal human resource development related to international cooperation and co-creation both domestically and internationally by organically utilizing education, research, and community contributions, and we will introduce some of these in the plenary.

3. Meeting format

This conference will primarily be held in-person (partially online).

4. Participation fee
Regular member: 6,000 JPY (Early bird registration fee: 5,500 JPY)
Student member: 3,500 JPY (Early bird registration fee: 3,000 JPY)
Non-member (general): 6,500 JPY (Early bird registration fee: 6,000 JPY)
Non-member (student): 4,000 JPY (Early bird registration fee: 3,500 JPY)

5. Important dates

  • 16 February: Presentation applications scheduled to begin
[7 March: Application deadline for society membership; for those who want to present. *]
  • 25 March 2024: Deadline for presentation applications
  • 5 April: Participation registration begins
  • Late April: Notification of acceptance/rejection results
  • 15 May 2024: Participation registration deadline
  • 22 May 2024: Deadline for submitting papers

6. Gatherings

A social gathering is planned for the first day of the conference (15 June). Please participate as it will be a long-awaited event.

*On our campus, we have the Utsunomiya University Manabinomori Nursery School, which offers daycare for children ranging from ages 0 to 6th grade. Further details regarding this service will be provided in due course.
