The 25th JASID Spring Conference

About the conference day

WiFi

WiFi information will be posted in each classroom at the convention venue for your convenience.

If you would like to participate in an online session from the convention venue, you can use room 4B31 in Building 4. Please bring your own device and headset. However, when connecting to Zoom at the venue, do not select "Connect to Audio" or "Join Audio" as this may cause interference due to echo (howling). Simply muting your microphone is not enough to prevent echo. If you are already connected, please select "Leave Audio" immediately.

2. Measures Against Infectious Diseases, Passive Smoking, and Chemical Sensitivity

This conference will be held in person, except for some sessions. The conference organizing committee will implement the following infection control measures, and we ask for your cooperation in ensuring a safe and secure conference.

Dear Participants,

As a measure against infectious diseases, please check your health condition by taking your temperature before coming. If you have a fever (over 37.5 degrees) or feel unwell, please refrain from attending, regardless of whether you test positive for an infectious disease.
  • Smoking is prohibited throughout Utsunomiya University. Please refrain from smoking to prevent passive smoking. Additionally, please avoid using artificial fragrances to prevent hypersensitivity to chemicals.

To All In-Person Speakers:

[Presenters] If you are unable to attend due to illness or other circumstances, please promptly notify the conference secretariat (jasid2024spring@gmail.com), as well as the commentators and chairpersons. Please note that if you are unable to attend, regardless of the reason, you will be considered absent. Online presentations are not possible, and video recordings will not be available as we will not be able to answer questions in real-time.

[Commentators] If you are unable to attend due to illness, please contact the conference secretariat (jasid2024spring@gmail.com) and consult with the chairperson. If you have prepared written comments in advance, please send them to the chairperson. If you plan to make only oral comments, please make arrangements within the session, such as asking the chairperson to provide substitute comments.

[Chairpersons] If you are unable to attend due to illness, please contact the conference secretariat (jasid2024spring@gmail.com) and make arrangements within the session, such as contacting the commentator to act as the moderator and facilitator.

Venue:

To prevent infection and chemical sensitivity, we have selected relatively large, easily ventilated rooms with minimal chemical exposure and are proceeding with preparations as the hosting school. Although there are individual differences, we believe that those with chemical sensitivity will be able to participate with some peace of mind.

The venue will be regularly ventilated, and hand sanitizer will be available at the entrance. Visitors will be responsible for deciding whether or not to wear a mask.
