The 25th JASID Spring Conference

Submission of Papers (Closed)

Submission of papers

Thank you for your submissions. Following the conference program committee's review, a total of 79 proposals have been selected: 44 for oral presentations (including 4 online), 6 for roundtable discussions, 4 for planned sessions (including 1 book talk), and 25 for poster presentations.

Submission of Paper (Presentation)

  • Submission of papers will begin on 17 April. To submit your paper, please login here
  • Applicants whose presentations are accepted in the oral presentation and special session categories must submit their written papers by 23:59 on 22 May (Wednesday). For roundtables, the submission of papers (general or individual presentations) is optional. No papers are required for poster presentations.
  • ※Please note: If you are submitting a roundtable paper, we will need to adjust the settings on Confit. Please inform the conference executive committee for these changes. Additionally, due to system limitations, only the representative who submitted the abstract for planning and roundtable sessions can submit the paper. This representative should compile and submit the papers of other presenters in a single PDF file.
  • Papers (presentations) should be 4 to 16 pages long, including figures, tables, and references. Please adhere to the format prescribed by the JASID. Papers will be included in the Conference Proceedings, which will be published in PDF format. An access link to the proceedings will be provided to participants before the conference. Failure to submit the paper by the deadline may result in the cancellation of the presentation. Summaries submitted for roundtable and poster presentations at the time of application will be included in the "Conference Proceedings".

Regarding the Poster

  • If you plan to give a poster presentation, please review the guidelines. Depending on the situation at the host university, details will be provided at a later date.
  • The designated "core" time for poster presentations is from 11:45 to 12:45, so please ensure you present your poster during this period. Additionally, between 10:00 (the start of poster registration) and the core presentation time (starting at 11:45), you may want to attend one of the regular sessions. Yet, please prepare and post a (post-it) card indicating the time you plan to make your poster presentations, such as "Presentation begins at 10:00, 10:45, and 11:30." During these time slots, the members of the poster award committee will also join to evaluate the poster presentations. You may also choose to give a poster presentation(s) during the period following the core presentation time. This is optional, but the poster award committee members may also participate during this period.

Regarding participation in a conference:

  • Registration for the conference opened on 5 April.
  • The conference participation fee must be paid by credit card.
  • Printed copies of the conference proceedings will not be distributed. Only participants who have paid the registration fee will have advance online access to the collection of papers.

Upcoming deadlines:

  • The deadline for paper submissions is 22 May (Wednesday).

Thank you very much for your cooperation.
